Teeth of Vertebrates
Diversity is found in every aspect of life when we look at the Teeth of vertebrates; we find a lot of diversity in their teeth.
Teeth are The hard bone-like structure attached with jaws of vertebrates, Teeth are used for biting chewing and attacking.
Except for birds, turtles and few sea animals; most vertebrates have a variety of teeth; that shows how they get their food... whether they eat plants (herbivore animals) or get their food hunting other animals (carnivore animals).
Snakes: - the snake's teeth are Slope Backward (curved) that help them to hold their prey (Target) while swallowing it.
Wolves: - wolves have canine teeth, (dog-like) which help them for riving (ripping) of their Food.
Herbivores: - Most of the herbivores (Plant-eating animals) such as Deer, Goat, Sheep, Cow, and Elefant have Grinding teeth. however, there are some other animals like Beavers who have front teeth that help them to chisel (pare) the trees and branches of the trees. An elephant has two upper front teeth which are specially used as weapons and for moving objects
Omnivores: - The teeth of Omnivores (Humans, Pigs, Bears, raccoons, and a few other Mammals, etc.) Perform many functions like Tearing, Ripping, Chiseling (Paring) and Grinding.
