Light travels in waves which have different length. long-wavelength has less energy, and Short-wavelength contains more energy. The human eye can only see the light of Certain wave-length. The visible light has a wavelength between 400nm (violet)and 700nm(red). The light is composed of Seven different Colors Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green Yellow, Orange, and Red Ultraviolet rays (gamma, x rays) The Molecules that absorb Sunlight are called pigments. The all-important green pigments constitute C hlorophyll, which T raps light energy and converts it into chemical energy.
